Handy Hints for Painting in Cold Weather #3

At very low temperatures, paint can freeze if it is not stored correctly during the cold winter months. This includes product that is stored outside, on construction sites, in cold garden sheds and especially product that is supplied in metal cans. The application and performance of paint that has allowed to freeze then thaw out again can be seriously compromised. When mixing paint before use, check it carefully for any lumps or “seeds”. If you find any, it’s possible that the product has been adversely affected by freezing and may not suitable for use.
